Perry Township is a township in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,248 at the 2020 census. It was named after Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry. The township is in southern Jefferson County and is bordered to the south by Indiana County. It is west of Punxsutawney. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 28.7 square miles, of which 28.4 square miles are land and 0.3 square miles, or 1.05%, are water. Mahoning Creek, a west-flowing tributary of the Allegheny River, runs through the southern part of the township.
