We were brought here with the tour. A beautifully preserved castle. It's a historical place. Climbing up was difficult. But the photos were worth it. Full review by Sung S

I don’t know to be honest. We bought a 7-day Japan Rail pass to use throughout our trip because it was less expensive and very convenient. We bought that before we left and then picked up the vouchers/tickets at the airport when we arrived. We also purchased/upgraded our tickets for the bullet trains to the reserved Green Cars (first class) - none of the Green Cars we were on were full - there were plenty of seats.

There are crowds anytime of day. We saw the dressed up folks in the morning at 9am. Not sure if they are there in the afternoon.
