Not only a beautifully set out garden on an island the boat trip showed us seals and sea eagles! Don’t miss out if you’re in the area.Full review by derekh872

Questions & answers

Q:
When does garinish reopen please ?
A:
It is open.
Q:
If we kayak to the island, can we tie up somewhere and pay to see the gardens?
A:
Yes you should be able. When we were there a family came in a rib. You pay for the ferry and the island separately. Maybe check directly with them
Q:
Can you get a drink and food on the island
A:
Yes . There is a small cafe on the quayside where you arrive.
Q:
Do you accept credit and debit cards or is it cash only?
A:
The ticket office will take cards but when I was there the cafe didn't. It may have just been on that day but I'd bring some cash to be safe.
