How much time would you recommend spending at the museum?

Probably 1-2 hours. There’s lots to read and see. You can do it in an hour but we felt like 2 would be more leisurely and less rushed.

We paid $10 for entrance that includes the docent tour. With that price, you’d see a lot, so we ended up donating more money (optional)...
