It is difficult to know what to say about this place. On the one hand there are spectacular temples (but closed to visitors), statues and the verdant forest which is a delight to walk around. And the… Full review by SB01

An educational place to visit in Central Ubud. The complex is beautiful and had many amazing stone sculptures and temples. We even got to buy a nice painting by a local artist at the Exhibition Hall,… Full review by melissareyes2018
We are visiting in a little over a month. Went to purchase tickets and it says they are out of stock, for the next year! Is it day if purchases only? Or tour operators buy all the tickets? Or operator error :-)?

We walked in and bought the tickets - no need to do it in advance.

Is it safe to take a 1 year old baby to this sanctuary!?! Do the monkeys come up close to you while walking around!?!
A:
hI there you will be fine, there are plenty of monkey wardens about and the monkeys are not aggressive and just meander around the park doing there own thing.
Hello everyone, I’m very interested in visiting here in the near future and being such I have a few questions, if you have time. In a general sense monkeys are wild animals and I would assume this means there can be some unpredictable behavior. Does anyone know if it would be suitable to visit for a person with poorly functioning motor neurons? This can effect my walking and even talking at times and I am worried the monkeys might respond adversely to something and maybe (not knowing that I am disabled obviously as they are wild) and perhaps injure me? Other than the above concern I am really looking forward to this adventure. Thank you
A:
In my opinion I do not think the monkeys will seek you out. If a monkey seems interested you can turn around and walk away.
