Q:
HI Steve, Can I ask what tour company you used for your day trip?
A:
We stayed at Pikaia Lodge and they use their own yacht for all island trips. The trips are daily to different locations and are included in the cost of your stay.

I'm interested in all parts of Bartolome (penguins, lava cactus, hike, view), but especially am wondering about the snorkeling - how long is usually dedicated to snorkeling for day tours from Santa Cruz? What were you able to see? How different from e.g. snorkeling around the corner from Tortuga Bay?
A:
It was only 30 mins - not long at all

For a day trip would anyone share how much you paid and if you booked in advance or upon arrival?
A:
I paid$180, booked last minute from Santa Cruz. I went to few agencies, the price range was 180-200, they all offered pretty much the same itinerary with lunch, equipment etc included
Q:
Is there a scuba shop and scuba diving out of Bartolome?
A:
Unlikely as it’s inhabited! Likely to be based elsewhere such as on a boat and take a zodiac to the island.

Can you give me some idea of what the weather is like in early February?
